On April 24, 2025, the SPM² project was presented during the third installment of the ESG training series titled “Sustainable Business in Action: Manage the Process of Creating Your ESG Report,” held in Novi Sad, Serbia. The session was organized by Energy Net DOO and Advise Institute DOO, bringing together professionals from academia, industry, and consulting to explore practical ESG integration and sustainable project management strategies.
Objectives of the Workshop:
Deliver a comprehensive understanding of ESG frameworks
Strengthen ESG reporting and data visualization skills
Equip professionals with tools for sustainable decision-making
Promote the SPM² methodology and explore its alignment with ESG strategies
Integration with the SPM² Project:
A dedicated session introduced the Sustainable Project Management through PM² (SPM²) initiative, presenting:
Project goals in advancing sustainability through PM²-based project management
Digital tools and frameworks for sustainability-focused training
Opportunities for engagement in pilot trainings, Living Labs, and digital micro-credentials
A participant survey revealed high interest in:
Hands-on, practical formats (e.g., Living Labs)
ESG-integrated project management certifications
Continued communication and collaboration
Key Outcomes & Impact:
Participants gained actionable strategies to apply ESG principles in their work
Organizations were better equipped to produce regulatory-compliant sustainability reports
The event significantly expanded awareness and engagement with SPM², establishing groundwork for future collaboration
Recommendations emphasized the development of tailored training programs and online learning platforms
