A three-cycle Educational Programme on Sustainable Project Management for Young People was delivered at Advise Institute (Temerinska 111, Novi Sad, Serbia) on 29 November 2025, 11 December 2025, and 18 December 2025. The programme was organised by the University of Novi Sad (UNS), Advise Institute (AINS), and Energy Net (ENG), and focused on building practical capacity in sustainable and regenerative project management.

Training focus: from “do no harm” to regenerative value

Across all three cycles, participants were introduced to sustainable project management as a core competence, emphasising the shift from traditional delivery approaches toward impact-aware, value-oriented project outcomes. The curriculum explored sustainability in contemporary economic, social, and environmental contexts and provided guided tools to help participants apply sustainability in project planning and decision-making.

Key learning components included:

  • the P5 model (People, Planet, Prosperity, Process, Product) as an analytical framework to identify positive and negative project impacts,

  • an overview of the PRiSM methodology, including its lifecycle perspective and sustainability alignment,

  • practical teamwork using the P5 Sustainable Project Canvas to analyse scenarios, evaluate trade-offs, and identify sustainability opportunities.

Cross-project clustering session

A dedicated clustering session connected the training content to real EU-funded practice by presenting ESG4PMChange, SPM2, GreenTech Horizons, and ESDG as complementary examples of sustainability integration. The session focused on how individuals involved in Erasmus+ projects—coordinators, team members, educators, and contributors—can influence outcomes through everyday project decisions and governance, moving beyond compliance toward long-term competence development and systemic impact.

Participation and engagement

Participation was strong and consistent:

  • 20 participants attended the 1st cycle (29 November)

  • 19 participants attended the 2nd cycle (11 December)

  • 19 participants attended the 3rd cycle (18 December)

In total, 58 participants took part across education, industry, entrepreneurship, public administration, and civil society. At the end of each cycle, participants received certificates of participation recognising their engagement in the programme.

Feedback and visibility

Participants reported high satisfaction, highlighting the interactive format, networking opportunities, and peer exchange. Many connected with organisers via LinkedIn and expressed interest in future trainings.

Dissemination was primarily supported through the programme’s Instagram profile, with regular posts and cycle recap reels, complemented by LinkedIn posts and reflections shared by participants that helped extend visibility across professional and academic networks.
