A dedicated training session was held to raise awareness and build capacity among entrepreneurs, students, SMEs, and institutional representatives on implementing sustainability strategies and project management practices aligned with Polish and EU frameworks.

The training focused on key environmental obligations for enterprises, covering topics such as BDO, KOBIZE, circular economy principles, ESG integration in business, and the upcoming Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Experts shared practical case studies and hands-on tools to help organizations translate regulatory requirements into actionable sustainability measures.

Alongside the main agenda, the event featured a spotlight session on the Sustainable Project Management through PM² (SPM²) project. Participants were introduced to the project’s core goals, international partnership, and its emphasis on integrating sustainability into project management through the PM² Methodology. Project materials were distributed, and the Erasmus+ partnership was showcased during networking breaks.

The session attracted a diverse group of participants, including business owners, project managers, public sector representatives, and students enrolled in environmental and economic programs. Feedback indicated strong appreciation for the clear explanation of legal frameworks and the practical guidance offered. Attendees particularly valued the real-world examples and tools they could apply directly in their organizations.

Interest in the SPM² initiative was notably high. Many participants asked how they or their organizations could engage with the project or use its educational tools to strengthen sustainability competencies in project work. Several requested additional resources and expressed interest in staying informed about future SPM² activities and developments.

Dissemination and visibility for the event were supported through the UITM website, social media channels, and the Enterprise Europe Network South Poland communication platforms. Invitations were also distributed directly to local businesses, institutions, and relevant student groups.
