On November 2, 2024, the Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad hosted the PM²4EUfunds Training Academy 2024 at ACZOR in Novi Sad’s Creative District. This highly anticipated event attracted 43 participants and delivered an immersive full-day training focused on managing EU-funded projects using the PM² methodology, with a strong emphasis on sustainability.
Designed to provide practical knowledge and tools, the Training Academy featured a rich blend of expert-led sessions, hands-on exercises, and group collaboration. Attendees gained deep insights into:
The flexibility and application of the PM² methodology in EU-funded projects
Sustainable project management practices, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation
Project proposal development aligned with EU sustainability and funding priorities
One of the event’s highlights was the presentation of the SPM² Project by Prof. Danijela Ćirić Lalić. Her session emphasized the project’s alignment with EU policies and its goal of embedding sustainability into project management education and practices.
Participants worked with the PM² Project Canvas to develop mock proposals and presented their solutions in a closing group exercise, demonstrating the immediate applicability of the tools they had learned.
