On December 3, 2024, the SPM² project was presented during the 2nd Jean Monnet ENROL School, hosted at the University of Novi Sad’s Rectorate building. The event focused on the implementation of European regulations in environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and labour relations — key areas aligned with the EU’s sustainable development agenda.

During a dedicated session, SPM² Project Coordinator Danijela Ćirić Lalić introduced the project and its mission: to integrate sustainability into project management practices by adapting the PM² methodology in line with the EU Green Deal and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Highlights from the SPM² Session:

  • Participants engaged with the core principles of sustainable project management

  • The PM² methodology was presented as a practical tool for embedding sustainability in project planning and execution

  • Discussions explored how EU best practices can be applied in Serbian and regional contexts

The session drew 29 participants, including students, academics, and professionals from fields such as environmental science, labour relations, and project management. Their active engagement in the Q&A reflected a growing interest in the application of sustainability in both education and professional practice.
