Work Packages

The SPM² project is structured into five key Work Packages (WPs) to ensure comprehensive development and impact. WP1 focuses on project management, covering administrative oversight and compliance with EU standards. WP2 engages stakeholders to assess needs and draft the SPM² Guide, embedding sustainable project management practices within the PM² methodology. WP3 develops a curriculum and digital resource hub, providing interactive training tools for students and professionals. WP4 introduces a pilot for a micro-credential framework, offering stackable qualifications in sustainable project management. Lastly, WP5 emphasizes dissemination through webinars, workshops, and outreach, ensuring SPM² resources are accessible and adopted widely across Europe.

Project Management

This WP oversees all administrative aspects of the SPM² project, ensuring that activities adhere to established timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. It involves regular monitoring, risk management, and coordination among partners to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance with EU requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement, Needs Analysis, and SPM² Guide Preparation

WP2 focuses on identifying the needs of target groups, including educational institutions, industry bodies, and certification organizations, through consultations and surveys. Insights gathered are used to draft the SPM² Guide, a foundational resource that integrates sustainable project management practices into the PM² methodology, ensuring relevance and applicability across sectors.

Curriculum Development and Digital Resource Hub

This WP is dedicated to designing a structured curriculum that aligns with sustainability and project management standards. It includes developing instructional materials and integrating them into a digital resource hub. The hub will serve as a comprehensive platform offering interactive tools, templates, and training modules accessible to students, educators, and professionals across Europe.

Micro-Credential Framework Development and Pilot

WP4 establishes a modular credentialing system that provides learners with recognized qualifications in sustainable project management (SPM²). This pilot phase will test the framework with selected institutions, allowing feedback-driven refinement. The framework will support both students and professionals in acquiring market-relevant, stackable credentials, fostering lifelong learning.

Dissemination, Knowledge Sharing, and Exploitation

This WP ensures the project’s impact by widely promoting the SPM² outcomes. Activities include organizing webinars, workshops, and conferences to share findings, resources, and methodologies. Targeted dissemination to educational institutions, industry professionals, and policymakers ensures that SPM² tools and best practices reach diverse audiences, encouraging adoption across Europe.
